You should also be promoting things like the latest blog post or information about your products or services in order to reach more people over time.
It is important to remember that there are also several reasons why you will be using social media in the first place, and this will also dictate the types of posts you will be making. A promotion strategy for using social media promotion to boost your SEO campaign will look much different than one that is used to promote awareness of your band.
